Millennium Development Goals

The Hospital of Hope Timor-Leste embodies the principles driving the Millennium Development Goals. We will lead by example in:

. providing educational opportunities across the community ensuring inclusion of vulnerable groups (on-the-job and vocational training);

. gender equity in access to services, educational opportunities and in the service delivery team;

. combating the spread of HIV/AIDS through protocols within the hospital to prevent infection and in ensuring patients in our care who are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS are appropriately referred to treatment and support options; and

. environmental sustainability through the use of best practice design and energy producing technology (e.g. solar technology).
