How We Help

Our vision is to provide first world health care for all the people of Timor-Leste. Hospital of Hope is made up of a select number of motivated and passionate volunteers who donate their time to work towards this vision. The support by volunteers and our corporate and private partnerships plays a vital role in the administration and management costs, ensuring that every cent that is donated can be spent on establishing the Hospital of Hope.

To give first priority at all times, in all that we do, to the health care of all citizens of Timor-Leste

To show respect and kindness in all our dealings with Timor-Leste citizens

To respectfully work within the cultural values of Timor-Leste

To respect and assist where possible the efforts of other organisations, such as the Ministery of Health and other health care NGO's, aiming to complement the efforts of others

To respect and show care and gratitude to all those who work with us in our mission

To remain apolitical and nonaligned to any philosophy other than a consideration of what is best for the health of the East Timorese people
